The product

What is Distrarc?

Distrarc is software that helps founders find their first users. You give it your product URL. It reads your site, describes who the product is for, and looks for public conversations where people ask for what you build. Each result links to the original post, with its date and the reason it fits. Distrarc can draft a reply, which you review, edit and post yourself.

How does Distrarc understand what my product does?

It reads your website and drafts a short description of the product, who it is for and the problems it solves. You can review and correct that description, and searches use it to judge which conversations fit.

Does Distrarc post or send messages for me?

No. Suggested replies are drafts. You decide whether to use them, edit them, and post them yourself from your own account. Anything public, external or paid requires your explicit approval.

What do suggested replies look like?

They answer the person's actual question first, mention your product at most once and only when it helps, and include a plain disclosure that you built it. You can change any of it.

What happens if there is not much demand for my product in public?

The report tells you. If no strong match is verified, Distrarc says so instead of filling the list with weak results.

What does Distrarc do after the first report?

On a plan, Distrarc reruns your search on a schedule, qualifies new conversations, drafts replies for your review and can run email outreach from mailboxes on your own domain. You approve before anything goes out.

Sources

Where does Distrarc look for conversations?

In public sources such as Hacker News, Reddit, Stack Overflow and other Stack Exchange sites, GitHub, Bluesky, YouTube and web search results. Which sources are searched depends on who your product is for and what is available at the time, and the report shows which sources were used.

Does Distrarc access private groups or messages?

No. Distrarc searches public content only. It does not read private messages, private groups or password-protected communities.

Pricing, trial and billing

Is the first report free?

Yes. Paste your website on the homepage. The first report is free, needs no card and never starts a paid subscription.

How much do the plans cost?

Three plans, billed monthly or yearly. Yearly is 30% cheaper. Founder: $49 per month, or $34 per month billed yearly. Reruns every 6 hours, 1 mailbox, 3,000 credits a month. Growth: $129 per month, or $90 per month billed yearly. Reruns every 3 hours, 3 mailboxes, 8,000 credits a month. Scale: $299 per month, or $209 per month billed yearly. Reruns every 1 hour, 6 mailboxes, 25,000 credits a month. Checkout shows the billing interval and the total, including applicable taxes, before you pay.

What changes between plans?

Three things: how often your search reruns (every 6, 3 or 1 hour), how many mailboxes are included (1, 3 or 6), and how many credits you get each month (3,000, 8,000 or 25,000). Every plan has one product, all sources and reply drafts.

How does the free trial work?

Annual plans start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required and nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, your card is charged for the year unless you cancel first. Monthly plans have no trial and are charged at checkout, but every new account gets a free test run first so you can see real leads before you pay. There is one free trial per person.

What are credits?

Credits pay for work Distrarc does for you. One search costs 1 credit and one AI step, like judging a post or drafting a reply, costs 1 credit. Bigger AI steps cost 3. Your plan adds credits each month (3,000 for Founder, 8,000 for Growth, 25,000 for Scale), resetting monthly even on annual plans. You can buy more: 2,500 credits for $10, one time, and bought credits do not expire while you are subscribed. If you run out, new work pauses until you buy more or your next month starts.

Can unused credit packs be refunded?

Yes. One-time credit packs are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase provided zero credits from that pack have been used. Once any credits from a pack are consumed, that pack is non-refundable.

Can I add mailboxes?

Yes. Extra mailboxes are $10/month each ($5/month for India-based businesses) on every plan ($10/month each, or $5/month for India-based businesses based on billing country). Mailbox add-ons renew monthly and charges are prorated for partial billing cycles. Mailboxes are Google Workspace inboxes on your own domain, set up for you.

Can I use an invitation code or discount coupon?

Single-use invitation codes offer a 40% discount on subscription plans (valid for the first three monthly cycles on monthly plans, or the first annual billing cycle on annual plans). Invitation codes do not expire, apply to plan products only, and subscriptions renew at standard plan rates once the discount period ends.

How do I cancel?

Cancel at any time from Plan & billing. If you cancel during an annual trial, you are not charged. A scheduled cancellation keeps access until the end of the trial or the paid period.

What is the refund policy?

Fees for periods that have started are non-refundable, except for approved billing errors, material technical failures on our side, eligible unused credit packs within 14 days of purchase, or where applicable law requires a refund. If you believe a charge is incorrect or duplicated, or the service was unavailable because of a material technical failure on our side, write to legal@distrarc.com within 14 days of the charge with your invoice or payment reference. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record and processes payments and refunds. The Refund Policy has the full terms.
