Free first reports never start a paid subscription. You subscribe only by completing hosted checkout, which requires a card.
Free trial: only annual plans include a 7-day free trial, limited to one trial per person (we treat addresses that differ only by case, a plus tag or Gmail dots as the same person). Nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the subscription converts automatically to the annual plan you chose and your card is charged for the year, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Monthly plans have no trial period and are charged at checkout. Every new account gets a free test run before it pays. If you already used a free trial, checkout charges the first period right away and says so before you pay. Plans then renew at their selected interval until cancelled.
Plan credits and resets: each plan includes a monthly credit allowance (3,000 for Founder, 8,000 for Growth, 25,000 for Scale) that resets on a monthly cadence, even under annual subscriptions. Unused monthly plan credits do not carry over across billing cycles.
Credit pack purchases and refunds: credit packs are one-time purchases ($10 for 2,500 credits). Purchased credit packs never expire and carry over from month to month while your subscription remains active. A credit pack is eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase provided zero credits from that pack have been used. Once any credits from a pack are consumed, that pack is non-refundable.
Mailbox add-ons: extra mailboxes cost $10/month each ($5/month for India-based businesses based on billing country) and renew monthly. Extra mailbox additions and cancellations are prorated for partial billing cycles.
Promotional discounts and invitation codes: single-use invitation codes offer a 40% discount on subscription plan products only. Discounts apply to the first three monthly billing cycles for monthly subscriptions, or to the first annual billing cycle for annual subscriptions. Invitation codes do not expire, are valid for one use per account, and do not apply to credit packs or mailbox add-ons. Subscriptions automatically renew at the standard plan price once the discount period concludes.
Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions and processes payments, invoices and refunds. Checkout displays the billing interval and total, including applicable taxes, before payment.
Contact legal@distrarc.com within 14 days of a charge if you believe it is incorrect, duplicate, or the service was unavailable because of a material technical failure on our side. Include your invoice or payment reference. We review requests against this policy and applicable consumer law.
Fees for started periods are non-refundable except for approved billing errors, material technical failures, eligible unused credit packs, or where required by applicable law. Cancel from Plan & billing at any time, in one click. Cancelling during the trial means you are not charged; scheduled cancellation keeps access until the trial or paid period ends. A full refund ends access for the refunded period; partial refunds do not automatically end access. Disputed payments may pause new work while reviewed.
If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
